Guest House

Bosavern House has a fascinating history with links to King Henry VIII and Sir Humphrey Davey – combined with smugglers tunnels and a friendly ghost. The house was built in the 1620’s and then extended and “modernised” in the mid-19th century. Its imposing exterior conceals an interior of warmth and comfort, brought about by sympathetic restoration and modernisation. We will do our best to provide anything you need to make your stay here as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Breakfast

Your day begins at Bosavern House with breakfast in the dining room or conservatory which benefit from the morning sunshine. We are pleased to offer an extensive breakfast menu which uses the finest Cornish produce available in addition to our homemade jams and yoghurt.  Enjoy a delicious traditional breakfast cooked to your order, sample an option featuring locally smoked fish, or indulge in a luscious fruit platter – your biggest problem will be deciding which dish to choose.

Sitting Room & Bar

At the end of the afternoon you can return to Bosavern House to unwind and reflect upon your day – maybe with a glass of wine or Cornish beer from our bar. Our sitting room has plenty of comfy sofas and a good library of books about Cornwall and our local area.

Our Rooms

The bedrooms in our guest house are beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Most of them have superb views either towards the sea or across our lovely gardens to the local moors.

At the end of the day we want you to enjoy the best possible night’s sleep and we have therefore provided quality mattresses and linen on all beds.

We have two single rooms, one of which is a small double room and is situated on the ground floor, three double/twin rooms, two twin bedded rooms and one family/twin/double room. All have en-suite facilities except for one twin room which has a separate private bathroom situated down the hall.

We are pleased to provide wifi broadband access to the internet.
