Deposit: All reservations are subject to the receipt of a deposit of 15% of the total booking cost (minimum £20). Payment may be made by credit/ debit card, cheque (payable to Bosavern House), cash or euros. We regret we do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards. We do not surcharge credit/ debit cards. The exchange rate for Euros is based on the Financial Times published rate on the day payment is received.
A reservation is confirmed by letter or email upon receipt of the deposit.
Cancellation: A reservation is a binding contract, and as such you may incur charges if you subsequently cancel or alter the reservation. We reserve the right to make a cancellation charge of up to a maximum of 75% of the value of the accommodation originally reserved if we are not able to re-sell the room. If we are successful in reselling the room, the deposit will be refunded in full, apart from a £10 administration fee.
We strongly recommend the use of holiday cancellation insurance to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances.
Arrival/ check in: rooms are normally available from 4pm; the latest time for arrival/ check-in is 10.00pm.
Departure/ check out: guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 10.30am on the day of departure.
Pets: dogs are allowed in allocated pet-friendly rooms.
Liability: we do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Damages and Breakages: you are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you cause, to the house or its contents. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.
