Access Statement For Bosavern House

Introduction

Bosavern House was built in the 1620's as a direct result of land and money gifted by King Henry VIII to one of his sargents-at-arms for services rendered.  The house was further extended during the 1860's and its coachhouse built in 1874.  The historical nature of the buildings, combined with their solid granite construction, means that access may be difficult for people with limited mobility.  We have a total of 8 bedrooms; 6 of these are on the first floor of the house, one is on the ground floor of the coachhouse (not wheelchair accessible) and one is on the first floor of the coachhouse.  We have no lifts.

We are located in a quiet, small hamlet in the countryside close to the town of St Just.
